Terms of use

1. The service

Smoking Areas Seoul (“the service”) provides free information on where smoking areas are in Seoul, based on open data and user reports.

2. Accuracy

Records were collected on different dates and may not match what you find on site. We do not guarantee that a smoking area is open, accessible or exactly where the pin is. Please follow the signs on site and local laws.

3. Accounts

Adding places and sending reports require a Google sign-in. You are responsible for your account.

4. What you post

Please keep places and reports accurate. False information, advertising, and content that infringes others’ rights or breaks the law are not allowed, and staff may hide or remove it. Places you add are shown to everyone in the service.

5. Not allowed

Bulk collection by automated means, disrupting the service and using someone else’s account are not allowed.

6. Liability

This is a free information service. Unless we act intentionally or with gross negligence, we are not liable for losses, such as fines, that arise from using the information.

7. Sources

Sources and terms of the open data are shown under “sources and coverage” on the map and on each place’s details.

8. Changes

We will post changes to these terms in the notices.
